Dosage

• Unless a doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, drip into the external auditory canal 2 to 3 times a day:
• Dog 2 – 5 drops
• Cat 1 – 2 drops

20 drops is approximately 1 ml

Shake well before use!

Preventive/maintenance
1-3 x per week 1 drop. If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively, but reaction may take a little longer.

Administration
Using the pipette provided, drip the drops into the external ear canal.

How do I administer PUUR Auris?

Remove any loosened earwax from the auricle with cotton wool.

Recommendations for use In case of ear problems in animals, always go to the vet to check whether the eardrum is intact, or whether there is a grass spike (creeper) in the ear canal. The dog then usually tilts its head. Also go to the vet if the dog is suddenly deaf, has balance problems, or if blood comes out of the ear. “For clean healthy ears”, this only refers to the skin on the inside of the pinna and the external auditory canal up to the eardrum. If there is hair in the ear canal, it should be removed to speed recovery.

PUUR Auris / Ear can simply be used in cats. Is the auricle dirty too? Then drop a few drops of PUUR Auris / Ear on a kitchen paper or tissue and use it to clean the auricle.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. With prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. In this way, the ‘stimulus’ can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Interaction and contraindication
During pregnancy and lactation, always apply in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
To date, no adverse reactions to this product have been known or reported.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label or on the box.
