Allergy dog and cat

Allergies are increasingly common in dogs and cats, sometimes at a specific time of the year, but often throughout the year.

(Co) causes can be found in:

• genetic predisposition
• nutrition
• over-stimulation of the immune system by, for example, vaccinations
• emotional imbalance

The problems usually manifest themselves in:

• the skin (itching and redness, ear infection, anal gland inflammation)
• the airways (cough, asthma, bronchitis)
• the gastrointestinal tract (vomiting, diarrhea)

Just like for conventional medicine, allergies for holistic medicine are quite a challenge. During the holistic treatment, the whole of the animal is looked at, so that other organ dysfunctions and more emotional / energetic problems are immediately included in the treatment. The correct diet is also sought if this has an impact on the problem.

Often these patients have had an allergy for months or years and it is a complex problem that is not limited to just the skin or the intestines. With good guidance and the right supportive means, we try to improve the situation for the animal in such a way that chemical means need to be used as little as possible.
