Due to the departure of 1 of the assistants, there is an immediate vacancy for an enthusiastic assistant for 16-24 hours per week.
We are looking for a fun and spontaneous colleague from the immediate area of de Bilt. If you are a real jack-of-all-trades who is interested in holistic medicine and knows how to get things done, then you have come to the right place. Being a paraveterinarian is a plus, but certainly not required. Have experience with front desk duties such as telephone, calendar management and handling payments is desirable. As an assistant, you are the business card of the practice, so customer friendliness is very important to us.
If you become our new colleague, we want to work you in well as soon as possible to become an assistant/administrative assistant who adds value to our practice and can function independently within the team

Den Hoek is a holistic practice where Western and Eastern (animal) medicine come together and the well-being of the animal is paramount. By approaching and treating problems from different point of views, a better and longer-lasting result is achieved. This includes working with acupuncture, chiropractic and manual therapy, for example, in addition to regular Western medicine.
We are a dynamic, independent mixed practice for both horses and small pets.
As an assistant, you are the first point of contact for the client. Whether by phone, email or directly at the front desk. You welcome clients, explain all information and medications after the consultation, make any follow-up appointments, and take care of financial matters. You will also keep an eye on our web shop and process the orders that come in. Of course, this includes cleaning duties to ensure that the practice always looks peaky. Also, sometimes the doctors still need a hand during treatments, so you jump in there too if needed. A diverse and always varied position within a friendly and helpful team is what we can offer.

Salary is determined based on the guidelines collective bargaining agreement for veterinary assistants 2023 and job profile A.
