Question: “Does every horse that gains weight quickly benefit from gluco balance and should you stop using it between rations?”
➡Gluco balance has been specially developed for animals whose sugar metabolism does not work as it should. So in addition to ration adjustments, Gluco balance can certainly help in cases of obesity. A stop week is only recommended if the situation allows it. There are horses and ponies that cannot live without it, especially during the grazing season.
Question: “Now what is a good gut/stomach supporter in coldblood horses? Is probiotics really advisable to give just like that?”
➡Are there problems in the gastrointestinal system? There are plenty of (good) products, but the question is what it should be used for specifically.
Nutrition is essential, so a good quality roughage (be sure to have it analyzed as well) and little to no sugar and starch in any hard feed.
It is better to check regularly. This can be done, for example, by a holistic veterinarian (or therapist) who works with the Lecher antenna. Sometimes these checks can even be performed through manure. Feel free to contact the practice for more information.
Question: “Are you familiar with Paroxysmal dyskinesia? In a dog? Is there anything that can be done about this? Medications that could possibly support?”
➡ Yes our veterinarians are familiar with this, but there is not a ready answer to the above question. Yes there are remedies that may be able to support, perhaps in combination with the therapy of Information Medicine.
For a more detailed explanation, a telephone consultation may be scheduled with one of our veterinarians.
