You are what you eat

“You are what you eat”
Not only a very important statement for us humans, but certainly also for our animals.

Did you know that from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) not only the age and level of activity determine what an animal needs, but also the season and basic constitution?

In people it is also the case that one person needs more proteins or carbohydrates than the other, for example, and we often eat differently in the summer than in the winter.

According to TCM, all nutrients have a thermal and energetic effect. It does not matter whether it concerns meat, grains, vegetables, dairy, herbs or spices. They all have their own specific effect in the body.
