Mallika Kokke
In 1999 I graduated as a veterinarian at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent. From the start that I worked as a veterinarian in regular practice, I was missing something. I found the treatment methods and results not satisfactory enough. That is why I started the 3-year human acupuncturist course at the NAAS in 2001. Immediately afterwards I followed the 1 year veterinary acupuncturist course at the IVAS. During these courses I regularly did an internship in Den Hoek where a new world opened up for me and I immediately felt at home in the way of treatment. That is why I came to work in the practice in 2004.
In 2010 I decided to sail the world with my partner and left the practice. In the summers I was always present as a stand-in vet for the summer holidays.
After 9 years of sailing the oceans, it is time to return to the Netherlands and I will be happy to reinforce the small pet team again.
As if nothing has changed …. Except my name!
