Dosage

  • 1 – 2 x daily:
  • Horse 1 scoop
  • Pony ¾ scoop

1 scoop contains about 4 grams.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively, but reaction may take a little longer.

In case of improvement, a maintenance dose can be switched. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, look carefully at the reaction of the animal. In the beginning a higher dose may be required, this product can be safely given in a double dose. When improving, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.

Administration

PUURTranquil / Rust can be given through the food. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to let the animal get used to the taste. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the food bowl.

Duration of treatment
Always provide good quality food and adjust the conditions to the needs of your animal.

In a temporary (stress) situation, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. Preferably start 1 week in advance. After the disappearance of the complaint or after the period of restlessness, continue to administer this product for a few days.

In an acute situation, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. With prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. In this way, the ‘stimulus’ can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Each animal responds differently to the stated dosage. The dosage listens quite carefully, look carefully at the behavior of the animal. If the result is insufficient, increase the dosage slowly. When the desired behavior has been achieved, a maintenance dose can be sought, slowly reducing to about half of the indicated daily dose.

Interaction and contraindication
During pregnancy and lactation always apply in consultation with the attending veterinarian.

To date, side effects of this product have not been known or reported.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 ° C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label.
