At short intervals, he has been associated with Den Hoek since 2004: our dear Huib!
A passionate and compassionate therapist, with a very big heart for people.
Unfortunately, Huib has been out of action for some time due to health problems and has now even had to decide to stop treating altogether as a result.
We know this has been an incredibly difficult decision for him, but his health comes before anything else.
Huib will always hold a very special place in our “Den Hoek family” anyway! Huib also created a personal message of his own:
Dear Den Hoekers, patients, all staff and friends,
As of September 1, I will stop treating.
In early March of this year, I was found to have (treatable) prostate cancer. By now I have been under treatment, both regular and alternative, for some time.
This has had quite an impact on me physically, emotionally and energetically. I am often very tired.
Fortunately, things have otherwise been much better for some time, especially if I keep quiet! So it’s important that I listen to my body….I would like to thank all the patients, doctors, therapists, assistants and staff for the wonderful time I had with you! I enjoyed it! And I still do!
