Hassan

At the end of last year we had to say goodbye to “our king” Hassan.

Many of our clients and also the students of Healthcare Academy Den Hoek knew Eric’s white Arabian stallion. He also appears proudly on the cover of the book “Horse Types” which Eric wrote.

We often jokingly said to each other that Hassan was like a cat with nine lives. He regularly injured himself, but each time he amazed everyone by just getting back on his feet, but now, after almost 32 years, his body was really worn out.

A horse of incredible character. Brutal, confident and often pushing the limits.
But also sweet, very special and Eric his greatest teacher.
“Hassie” is going to be missed, but never forgotten.
