Nutrition and exercise advice
When making the appointment for the initial consult, we ask you to bring the food you give your animal. The food is one of the things that will be looked at during the consult. If there is reason to do so (for example in case of allergy or digestive problems), it can be tested whether the foodd you give is suitable for your animal.
This is not a qualitative assessment of the food, but it is tested whether or not the food is suitable for giving to your animal; so it is an individual test. Sometimes it may also be necessary (for example during a recovery period) to temporarily give a different foodd in order to better support the treatment. Increasingly, it appears that allergy complaints in dogs are caused by an allergy to animal proteins.
Special nutrition is available through the practice for this.
Exercise advice and / or an adapted training / work schedule can also be given to support the treatments. All this is examined individually per animal (depending on complaint / pain and circumstances) and discussed with you.
Support is possible for sport horses, whereby the horses are checked before, during and after the sport season.
